A Bit About Dr. Wilson

DeAnna (Henderson) Wilson, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, CRC, is the founder of Rejuvenation Training & Consulting, LLC (RTC), where she helps individuals from all walks of life reimagine growth, transform their skills, and cultivate meaningful impact. Her work is deeply rooted in both lived experience and extensive expertise spanning clinical practice, higher education, and executive leadership.

Currently, Dr. Wilson serves as an Academic Coordinator at a major online university, building on a distinguished career that includes leadership roles such as Chief Operations Officer at The Neighborhood House, Inc., Director of the Residential Treatment Center at Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry, and Dean of the College of Graduate, Adult, and Continuing Education at Wilberforce University. She was also a tenured Associate Professor at Alabama State University.

Dr. Wilson’s research interests include multicultural issues in counseling and higher education, mentorship of women, self-care and wellness, and ethical leadership. She is a Past President (2020) of the National Rehabilitation Association, where she remains actively involved, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association for Multicultural Rehabilitation Concerns. She has co-authored four book chapters and published multiple articles on topics in rehabilitation and mental health counseling.

As an educator, Dr. Wilson brings over a decade of experience teaching at more than eight colleges and universities in both in-person and virtual formats. She has facilitated hands-on learning through internship and practicum supervision, while teaching a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including:
